Obituary

Phyllis Ann Brouwer (Kuipers) was born May 5,1929 and passed away of natural causes on April 23, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter, twin brothers, and her parents, Samuel, and Jennette Kuipers. Surviving Phyllis are her four children, Sue (Cleon) McClure, Deb (Ed) Buiter, Pete, and Sharon; a brother, John (Elsie) Kuipers; and two sisters-in-law, Renee Brouwer and Mariann Alsum. She also leaves behind 11 precious grandchildren, and 24 beautiful great grands.

Phyllis loved the Lord with her whole heart. Her purpose in this life was to glorify her Saviour and tell others of His love for them. She served as a minister's wife alongside her husband in churches across the nation using her gifts of singing and teaching to bless many.

Phyllis was gifted with artistic talent which she used to both paint and create and design dolls. She loved nature and the outdoors and spent many hours camping and traveling. She loved her family, and her biggest joy was spending time with them. She always had sparkle in her eyes when her family was with her.

Phyllis will be greatly missed. She was indeed a true gift to all those who knew her.
