Pinewski, Philip A. "Phil" Age 91 of Anoka. Phil was a proud Navy Veteran serving in WWII and was a long time owner of Thurstons Furniture in Anoka. Preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Katherine and by his 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Phil is survived by his wife of 67 years, Marge; children, Linda (Denny) Johnson, Diane (Gary) Stritesky, Mary (Michael) O'Brien, Dan (Donna), Steve (Beth), Margaret Hanson (Todd Stevenson), Karen (Rob) Enga, Janet (Bob) White, John, Paul (Jill), Carol (Dan) Weber, Peter (Kristi) and Lori (Mike) Marx; 52 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchil-dren; sister, Martha Stwora; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, April 22, 2016 at 10 AM at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 525 Jackson St., Anoka. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Anoka. Visitation Thursday 5-8 PM at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Ave, Anoka and also 1 hour prior to Mass at the church. Vigil prayers 7 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
