Pauline Ruth Nielsen, aged 89, of Andover, MN, went to be with Jesus on March 23, 2024. She was born on June 29, 1934 in Neenah, WI to John and Olga Martin. She grew up in Wisconsin, but moved to California when she met the love of her life. Pauline married Thomas Leroy Nielsen on June 20, 1958. They raised two children, Paul Thomas and Mark Richard. They moved back to the Midwest (MN) when Mark (and Pam) started a family in 1991.

Pauline Ruth Nielsen was a loving wife, mom, daughter, sister, gramma, great gramma and friend to many.  She was passionate about her family and friends.  She loved to sing in church and was a member of her church choir for many years. She blessed many people with her beautiful voice as she sang for numerous weddings and special occasions.  Pauline had a sweet, confident and joyful demeanor and loved Jesus.

Pauline was preceded in death by her father - John Shepard Martin, mother - Olga Pauline Martin, brother - John S. Martin Jr. and brother Lavern David Martin.

She is survived by her husband - Thomas Leroy, sons - Paul Thomas and Mark Richard (Pam), grandchildren - Joshua Abraham (Emily), Danielle Nicole (Jesse Trowbridge), Benjamin Peter (Taylor), and Samuel David ( Sarah); great grandchildren - Theodore Jesse Trowbridge, Logan Jesse Trowbridge, Esther Jean Trowbridge, Lillian Noelle Nielsen, Matthias Thomas Nielsen, and two more on the way. She is also survived by her sister - Marilyn Emily (Ronald Basken) plus several nieces and nephews.

On Monday, April 15 at 10:00 am a visitation will be held at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 19001 Jackson Street NE, East Bethel 55011. Funeral will follow at 11:00am, with luncheon and burial following the service.
