Given-Strand, Paula Jean age 64, of Andover. Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. At peace and pain free from a short , intense fight with cancer. Preceded in death by father, Robert Snyder; brother, David; and aunt, Vicki. Survived by husband, Gary; mother, Marie; sons, Mike (Raquel) Strand, Aaron (Mandy) Given, Steve Strand, and Jason (Tasha) Given; brothers, Charlie (Rita), Rich (Denise), and Jim (Lisa); 8 wonderful grandchildren, Cody, Brittany, Micaela, Jack, Arianna, Aidan, Logan, and Landon; many, many kind and wonderful friends. She loved being a grandma and a cook. She was a multi-talented lady - artist with gardening, painting, and stained-glass; sewing, knitting, and interior decorating. She loved the beach and the water and we know she is at peace in her tropical paradise. A celebration of life will be held Friday, 11 AM at Thurston- DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay St. NW, Andover.
