Patterson, Paul George Age 92, of Andover, MN went to be with Jesus his Savior on June 14, 2025, surrounded by his family.

He was preceded in death by his father James Patterson, mother Margaret Sorenson Patterson, and great-grandson Cooper Engstrom.

He was born in Sault Ste. Marie, MI and grew up in Duluth, MN. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with undergraduate (1956) and medical degrees (1958). He served in the United States Air Force as a flight surgeon from 1959 to 1963. He subsequently completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Minnesota and practiced orthopedic surgery until his retirement in 1991. He was a member of GracePoint Church, New Brighton.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Marilyn, their children (and spouses) Craig (Brenda), Mary (Vince), Barbara (Jeff), Carol (Dean), and David (Leslie), grandchildren James, Eric, Michelle, Kyle (Keri), Christopher, Rachael (Ray), Caleb, Anna, Mark (Anne), Becca (Barrett), Peter (Grace), Samantha, Henry, and great-grandchildren MarLou, Jack, Callahan, Reese, and Macoy.

Memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025 with a visitation from 10 - 11 AM and service at 11 AM at GracePoint Church, 2351 Rice Creek Rd., New Brighton, MN 55112. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to GracePoint Foundation. Paul trusted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. The family finds comfort in the promise of heaven provided by Christ's resurrection.
