Mertens, Paul J. age 36 of Ramsey, passed away March 21, 2012. Paul was a loving father, a wonderful family man, an avid outdoorsman especially fishing and hunting, he was also a hardworking and talented carpenter. Survived by fiancée, Lisa Niedzielski; children, Lucas and Alysa Mertens; parents, Kathy and Dean Bemis; sister, Julie Mertens; step-sisters, Lorie (John) Bemis, Wendy (Mark) Theuringer, and Kristy (Bill) LaPlante; grandmother, Avis Haar; and many family and friends.
