Smuder, Patricia Ann age 86, of Zimmerman, Minnesota, passed away on March 23, 2023 at Elim Home in Milaca, Minnesota. She was married to Samuel Ira Smuder in December, 1953, and they had five children: Sherry (Chris) Evans, Phyllis Burmester, Kevin (Tammi) Smuder, Scott Smuder, and Gordon (Jennifer) Smuder. Patricia owned The Party House on Highway 10 for several years, where she catered many weddings and other parties. She is survived by her sister, O'Dell "Dolly" (Michael) Reynolds, her sister-in-law, Dorene Minder), four of her five children, as well as grandchildren, Ellen Burmester, Shaun (Kathy) Smuder, Sam (Sara) Smuder, Lucetta Smuder, Lacie Smuder, Ryan Smuder, and Justin Smuder, and several great-grandchildren. Patricia was preceded in death and has now gone on to join her husband (Sam, Jr), her son (Kevin), her parents (Grant and Florence Minder), and her brother (Donovan Minder). A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023 at 11 AM with a visitation one hour prior at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Ave, Anoka, followed by Interment at Morningside Memorial Gardens in Coon Rapids. Celebration of Life luncheon will follow at the American Legion in Anoka at 2:30 PM.
