Neal Ingelow Paulson, age 82 of Champlin, MN, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016, surrounded by his loving family at his home, from non-small cell lung cancer and 24/7 oxygen for 6 months. Neal was born May 3, 1934 in LaMoure County, ND to Selmer and Lillie (Andrud) Paulson. He was baptized on August 5, 1934 at North LaMoure Lutheran Church and was confirmed on August 15, 1948. He graduated on May 29, 1952 from Marion High School in Marion, ND. He volunteered for the draft into the US Army on March 3, 1953 and was discharged on March 3, 1955. He was a member of the American Legion. He came to Glenwood, MN and worked in a gas station and drove bus for Zepher Bus Lines (Mpls) in 1955 for 2 1/2 years. On May 5, 1959 he went to work for Cornelius Mfg of Anoka, MN and retired in May of 1996 after 37 years. He then went to work at the Dayton-Port Rest Area for 10 years. In his retirement he enjoyed his home which he lived in for 53 years, and loved working in his yard. He loved life, vacation trips, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, camping, but most of all his Harley-Davison motorcycles, and his motorcycle trips with his 4 children. His family was most important to him, and he will be forever missed. He was preceded in death by parents, Selmer and Lillie; brothers, Reginald, Merrill, John, Kenneth and Milfred; sisters-in-law, Irene and Gloria; grandson, Darren and great-grandson, Javontae. Neal is survived by his loving wife Norma of 60 years; sons, Norman (Hilda) and Lyle (Kim); daughters, Nancy (Lyman) Larrington and Laurie Gammon; 9 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Cornelius (Bertha); sister, Lillian Joy Scott; sisters-in-law, Carolyn, Bonnie and Sue; many loving family, friends and faithful little companion, Foxxy.
