Nancy Louise Burns (80), of Champlin (formerly of Anoka) was called to her heavenly home on Monday, June 15, 2026. 

She was the daughter of Leonard & Dagmar (Ostrom) Ehlert. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a music teacher in the Anoka-Hennepin School District for numerous years, spending the majority of her career at Dayton Elementary. She was united in Holy Marriage to Edward Joseph Burns on April 3, 1971. She will be deeply missed by those who were blessed to know her. She was preceded in death by her parents. 

Nancy is survived by: her husband Edward, sons: Daniel (Esther), Joel, Mark (Angela), Jon (Christy), and grandchildren: Ethan, Zachariah, Abigail, Emma, Oliver, and William. Funeral Service Monday, June 22, 2026 at 11 am at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 700 Western St – Anoka. Visitation one hour prior to the service.
