Bauer, Nancy Ann (nee Joseph) "The Strongest Person We Ever Met" age 69, of Coon Rapids, went to Heaven on April 21, 2016. Growing up in Nordeast Minneapolis, Nancy had great fun hanging out with all the gang from Edison and her best buddy, brother Tom. After graduation, Nancy married Jeffrey Bauer in 1966. They raised two kids, Jonathan and Lisa and built a successful real estate career. Nancy was a best friend & confidante to all of us who called her every day for advice or just to talk. Beautiful and quick laugh, positive even on dark days and tender-hearted toward all animals of the Earth. She fed any critter that showed up in her yard. Orphan animals were safe in her arms. Nancy had a fun, playful spirit and a spark in her eye. She had an unbreakable loyalty to her tight group of friends and family. She gave us all of her love. And love lives forever. Preceded in death by husband, Jeffrey. Survived by son, Jon (Kim); daughter Lisa; brother, Tom "Butch" (Sandy) Joseph; beloved granddaughters, Ella and Brooke; many wonderful nieces & nephews, and dear friends. Mass of Christian Burial Friday (April 29), 11 AM, with reviewal one hour prior at St. Maron's Catholic Church, 600 University Ave NE, Mpls 55413.
