Davis, Myra S. Age 62, passed peacefully in her Oak Grove home on Friday, April 10, 2020 after a battle with ALS.

She was born on June 8,1957 in Anoka, Minnesota, to Othmar and Hasel (Strom) Stroeing. She married Michael W Davis on August 9, 1997. Also surviving are her stepdaughters, Michelle Damm, Lori (Troy) Jochum, Cynthia (Brian) Opp, and Jennifer Davis; grandchildren, Matthew Jochum, Paige (Trevor) McQuay, Samantha Jochum, Alexander and Sierra Sweeney, Haellie and Rissa Opp; brother Otts Stroeing (Denise Parrish) and sister, Theresa Stroeing.

Myra and Mike were married at their home on Lake George and have shared many great memories throughout their years together. It wasn't unusual to find them sunning on their patio or for them to decide to go on an unplanned road trip and explore the countryside. Myra grew up on the lake and enjoyed sharing memories of the family resort. She proudly worked at Heritage Dental in New Hope, MN, as a dental receptionist for most of her career and considered her co- workers to be family. Myra's favorite time of the year was 'family vacation" she loved coming up with new games for the family to enjoy in addition to the late-night gab sessions. She was a great friend to many, considered the life of the party by all and was always up for an adventure.

There will be a visitation on Saturday (8/22/2020) from 10 AM -12 noon followed by a PRIVATE SERVICE for family only at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay St. NW, Andover A luncheon to follow services at the St. Francis American Legion. Memorial donations may be made in Myra's name to the ALS Association. Myra's family asks that you "spend time laughing and partying with your family and friends make a toast to family and enduring friendships, lifelong and beyond. That is what Myra would wish for you."
