She and her husband, Jake were married for 54 years and they raised two sons, Bob Baerg of Anoka and Bill Baerg of Houston. They were so proud of their sons and their nine grandchildren.
Jake and Millie were members of First Baptist Church in Anoka for more than 35 years. They enjoyed the seniors group there and sharing life with many of their close friends. They also loved attending Camp Lebanon together. Millie delighted in her grandchildren and didn't mind "spoiling" them at all.
Millie is survived by her son Bob and his wife Julie and their children, Breanna and Jon Rudolph and son Lucas (Denver), Daniel, Joshua, Samuel and Tirzah. Also son Bill and wife Darla and their children Caroline, Brittany, Savannah and Jacob. She is also survived by her sisters Mary Sherard and Anne Zustiak and her brother Johnny Zustiak.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jake and brothers Mike and Harry Zustiak.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2016 with visitation one hour prior, all at First Baptist Church, 1235 Park St., Anoka. Memorials can be made to First Baptist or Camp Lebanon.
In life Millie and Jake were often seen holding hands. On July 15, Jake took Millie's hand and walked her through heaven's gates straight to Jesus. She truly longed for heaven and, although we will always miss her here, we know she is enjoying her home in glory.
