Michael was preceded in death by his father, Michael and grandfather, John Schmitz.  He is survived by his mother, Peggy (Danny) Hakos, daughter, Elizabeth and son, Max, sister, Jacquelyn (Neal) Dalton, grandparents, Doris & Gene Larson, Marianne Schmitz and Marlene Brown, nephew, Porter, former wife, Kayla Schmitz and his dog, Carlos. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic private family services will be held.
