Michael H. "Mike" Nelson, age 66 of Andover, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at home.

Mike was a proud Veteran of the United States Army.  He had an incredible sense of humor and was a true "jokester" who could come up with a nickname for anyone or any situation.

In addition to his parents, Joe and Adeline (Bjerke) Nelson, Mike was preceded in death by his sister, Kimberly Nelson.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Cheryl; children, Terry, Jesse, Mike, and Melissa Nelson; grandchildren, Natalie, Austin, and Hayden Nelson; siblings, Robert (Mary), Debbie (Bob), Rick, Doug, and Joel (Shannon); also many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Due to health and safety concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, the Celebration of Mike's life is being postponed.  Details will be announced.
