Wells, Merle C. age 92 of Anoka, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 12, 2021 at River Oaks in Anoka, Minnesota. He was born June 2, 1928 in Becker, Minnesota. He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War and then went on to work at Federal Cartridge for 30 years. He married Lucille Kolbinger on July 1, 1950 and they celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in July. Merle loved to spend time with his family, travel, made many wood craft items, did shoe repair and was a jack of all trades. He was survived by his wife, Lucille; children, Wendy (Mark) Case and Trudy (Jim) Elmer; 3 grandchildren, Megan (Mitch) Linde, Laura (Luke) Saba and Travis (Andrea) Elmer; great-granddaughter, Layla Linde and many other loving relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
