Meredith A. Ewing, age 77 of Coon Rapids, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Thursday, July 4, 2019 at home.

In addition to her parents, Earl and Reba (Stonebarger) Ewing, Meredith was preceded in death by her grandmother, E.T. Stonebarger; and nephew, Johnny Ewing.  She is survived by her spouse, Karen Melby; brother, Phillip (Sylvia) Ewing; nephews, Jason (Kathi), Michael, and Damon Ewing; great-nephews, Jake and Nicholas; devoted caregivers and friends, Debbie Farnham and Carol Bruggers.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 16, 2019 at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay Street NW, Andover.  Visitation one hour prior to the service (10:00 - 11:00 a.m.)  Private interment.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Coon Rapids Fire Department.
