IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Melissa Ann
Schlueter
September 23, 1975 – June 1, 2023
Melissa Ann Schlueter age 47 of Andover passed away peacefully on June 1, 2023. Melissa was preceded in death by her sister Jamie Robertson, uncles Denny Hoen and Tom Robertson, grandparents Warren & Nancy Hoen and Marlyn & Virginia Robertson. She is survived by her loving husband Eric, children Dylan (Gabrielle) and Kailey, parents Terry & Therese Robertson, along with many other loving relatives and friends. Melissa was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota and raised her family in Andover. She and Eric were married on October 4, 1996 in a beautiful outdoor wedding in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Melissa had a profound love for animals and became a certified veterinary technician, working a few years in day practice and over a decade in emergency animal medicine. She was an amazing mother. She knew when to be tough and when to be loving. She knew how hard to push and when to hold back. Seldom did she raise her voice, but when she did, we all knew we were in trouble. She always defended her children. Melissa was a compassionate, loving, caring and giving person. She continually put the needs of others before her own. Melissa loved to cook and bake, who never made a single serving of any meal. She would prepare food with the intent to give it away, and if there was enough we would get a meal out of it. She had a way of looking at the positive side of everything and Melissa was soft spoken with a super human ability to hear. She never fought to be heard, although frustrated by that at times, she cherished and pondered the conversations. She heard everything. Always listening, always taking it in, always fully aware of what was going on around her. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 1 pm at Constance Free Church, 16150 Constance Boulevard, NW, Andover. Visitation one hour prior to services at the Church. Interment Constance Cemetery with a luncheon immediately following. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated. Donations can also be sent to the following non-profits.
