Our dearly beloved Mary, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. As a social butterfly, Maripat was always available for a late night call! You could often find her with a cup of coffee in her hand, studying her Bible. She was a prayer warrior, gifted writer and published author. Maripat loved all of God's creatures great and small, but cats were her favorite. She had a heart of gold, was a devoted grandmother, faithful  sister, beloved friend and mentor. Her smile and creative spirit will be missed and remembered by those who loved her for generations to come.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Rawson; parents, Thor and Myrtle Hagen; and two siblings, Ron Hagen and Virginia Breeding.

Mary is survived by daughter, Jennifer Williams; son, Andrew (Karen) Bryce; sister, Victoria Scherer; stepchildren; grandchildren and great grandchildren; many other relatives; a family of dear friends and three cats.

A funeral service for Mary will be held on October 11, at 11am, at Northwood Church in Maple Grove.
