Mary Anne Johnston, age 70, of Andover, MN was promoted to 'angel' and reunited with her family in heaven on Oct. 14 ^th , 2022. She passed away peacefully at home while being lovingly watched over by Bob, Sheri, Crystal, and Dream. In her last few days, she was able to visit with most of her family, giving everyone the chance to say goodbye, and for her to promise that she would be our guardian angel.

Mary was a spitfire and triumphed over many adversaries in her life, one of which was a horrific accident that left her with a severe TBI and nearly took her from us 35 years ago. She never lost her wit, of her love of her family. Her big brother Bob who lovingly called her ATB (always the brat) because her guardian in 1987, and made sure she was taken care of, even moving her in with him, and Sheri when her health was declining, and she needed more care.

Mary loved playing cards, bargain shopping, telling jokes (appropriate or not), watching cartoons and game shows, going out to eat, playing bingo, solving word find puzzles and mostly making sure that she had cards and/or gifts for everyone well in advance.

She will be deeply missed by her brother, Bob (Sheri); sister Cay (Bob); nephews, Jim (Carrie), Elijah and Ethan; nieces, Jenny, Sidney, Anna, Amy, Emily, Crystal; her godchild, Kris; and many cousins and friends.

We would like everyone to wear something purple to the service, as it was Mary's favorite color.

Mary's Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 2 at 11am with a visitation one hour prior, and a lunch to follow the service. Interment to be held at Roselawn Cemetery.
