Marvel Beatrice Gorham, 98, of Anoka, passed away on Tuesday, November, 30.

Marvel grew up in Crown MN.  After attending beauty school she had her own shop in Princeton, and years later operated her own shop in her home.  She married Victor on May 20, 1950.  They lived in Minneapolis for several years and moved to Anoka in 1957 where they raised Roger and Terry.  In 1994, they moved to the Ramsey home.   After Victor died in 2006, she lived independently until she moved to River Oaks in 2014.  Wherever she was, she showed her love to others through her passion for crafts.  We could only hope to know how many gifts of ceramics, pot holders, afghan blankets, embroidered tablecloths and dishcloths, crocheted towels, and most proudly for her, the quilts she tirelessly created. She loved to make these gifts, and even more loved to see the look of gratitude on the faces of those to whom she so generously gave.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Victor; Brothers, Melvin and Lloyd Miller; and Sister, Darleen Fuchs.

She is survived by Sons, Roger (Mary) and Terry (Colleen); Granddaughter, Kiz; Grandson, John; Brothers, Kenneth (Yvonne) and Robert (Joan) Miller; Sisters, Inez Quist, Doris Springer; and many Nieces and Nephews.

Memorial service at Mt. Olive in Anoka on Mon. Dec 13 at 11am with a Visitation one hour prior.
