Fairbanks, Marlys M. age 92, of Anoka, passed away peacefully June 10. Born Dec. 24, 1923 in Mitchell, SD, she lived in Anoka for the past 70 years. Preceded in death by husband, Neil. Survived by her 4 children, Susan (Frank) Rasor of Teaneck, NJ, Richard Fairbanks of St. Paul, MN, Thomas Fairbanks of Minneapolis, MN and Daniel (Shirley) Fairbanks of Andover, MN; 10 grandchildren, Peter (Janie), Jacob, Mary, Conor, Drew (Jesse fiancee), Landon, Joel, Maggie, Rachel and Samantha; special loved ones, Julie Andberg and BenJay Williams. Retired from Anoka Hennepin School District where she taught kindergarten at Wilson Elementary School. Marlys had a deep love for her family, a great sense of humor, and a warm smile for everyone she met, right to the very end. Funeral service Thursday, June 16, 1:30 PM, with reviewal one hour prior at United Methodist Church of Anoka, 850 South St. Visitation Wed., June 15, 5-8 PM at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, W.
