Stenson, Marlene A. age 83 of Coon Rapids, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2021. She loved her grandchildren dearly and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was on her Townhome Board for many years. She loved feeding, watching, identifying and putting houses up for birds. She enjoyed watching Minnesota sports, especially the Twins and Vikings. She liked going to Neil Diamond concerts. She was self employed for many years in painting and wallpapering. Preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Esther Schumacher. Survived by her children, Norris (Dana Ott) Stenson, Denise (Curt) Neukircher, Brad (Julie) Stenson, Jennifer (Jason) Bassett; grandchildren, Nosizwe, Hannah, Roosevelt, Haley, Samantha, Jack, Josephine, Jacob, Kassarine; sister, Sheryl (Roger) Bakewell; Norrie Stenson and many other loving family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday (1/13/22) at 11 AM with a visitation one hour prior at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 61 Mississippi St NE, Fridley, MN 55432. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Redeemer Lutheran Church.
