Mark P. "Ole" Olson, age 44 of Anoka, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.
Mark was born June 22, 1974 in Wadena, MN. He graduated from Anoka High School in 1993 and went on to graduate from the Minnesota School of Business. He was currently employed with Best Vendors Management, Inc. where he enjoyed assisting his co-workers navigate computer systems. He also enjoyed following the Minnesota Vikings and Twins, playing softball, fantasy football, and spending weekends at the cabin with family and friends. Mark loved his yellow lab, Bailey, and he had a contagious smile, and a big heart. He will be missed and always loved.
Preceding Mark in death were his grandparents, Oscar and Jeanne Olson, Thomas Lee and Evelyn Smith; uncle, Ron Veleke; cousins, Gregory Wold and David Veleke. He is survived by his parents, Rick and Judi Olson; sister, Jenny (Shane) Roy; niece, Sydney; nephew, Liam; aunts and uncles, John and Debbie Maher (Godparents), Shirley (Ron) Parejko; Janet Veleke, Karen (Charlie) Hart, Donna (Larry) Wold, Nancy (Tom) Goller, and Sandy (Gary) Weinkauf.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 26, 2018 at the United Methodist Church of Anoka, 850 South Street, Anoka. Visitation one hour prior to the service at church (1:00 - 2:00 p.m.) Private Interment.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
