Mark Locker Liebrenz, age 66, of Champlin, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, after two months on hospice and a four year battle with cancer. He was born July 28, 1957 in La Grange, Illinois, and worked in IT at the Star Tribune for 37 years, retiring in 2019.

Mark was a quiet man who enjoyed the outdoors and his time at the cabin. He will be missed by many friends and family.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Elaine (Locker) Liebrenz; and brother, Grant Liebrenz.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Judy (Lundeen); sisters, LuAnn (Rich) Wilson, Ellen (Bob) Shimkus; sister-in-laws, Diane (Barry) Drevlow, Elise (Doug) Lundeen-Detisch; nieces and nephews, Kayla Wilson, Annie Shimkus, Billy Shimkus, Aaron (Jamila) Drevlow, Corey (Danielle) Drevlow, Anna Lundeen-Detisch, Henry Lundeen-Detisch; and 5 great-nieces and nephews.

No service is scheduled at this time; memorials can be made out in Marks honor, to the Animal Humane Society, or a charity of the donors choice. 07/
