Mariet Schueller Bahe passed on December 22, 2020 at the home of her son Brian in Jupiter, Florida. Mariet was born September 2, 1933 in Benton County to George and Alfreda (Voigt) Schueller. On September 17, 1951, she married Conrad Bahe in Morrill, Minnesota. The couple soon moved to Coon Rapids, Minnesota where they spent the next 60 years as parents and grandparents to their 6 children, 9 grandchildren. Mariet epitomized the saying, "Man may work from sun to sun, but woman's work is never done." She worked various full- and part-time jobs through her career, did all the household tasks a woman with 6 kids and 9 grandchildren has to do, and then sewed, embroidered, and baked decorative cakes for fun. She was preceded in death by her husband Conrad, parents, and brothers Joseph, Jerome, Richard, and Robert. Mariet is survived by her children: Dan, Jerry (Sue), Paul, Steve (Cyndi), Mike (Lannie), and Brian. Grandchildren: Jeremy, Matthew (Michelle), James, Andrea Peter), Jennifer, Chelsey, Jacob (Amy), Hannah (Paul), Denali, and great-grandchildren Autumn, Marceline, and Benjamin. Sisters: Darlene Lesniak and Judy Petron and brother in law Aaron Bahe; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Special thanks to Lary, Barbara, Loretta, Lisa, and others for the assistance they provided Brian in taking care of Mariet in her final years. Celebration of life will be held at a later date when we can all get together.
