Marie D. Hovind, age 97 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2020 at Walker Plaza in Anoka.

In addition to her parents, Theodore and Mabel (Beltrand) Blanchette, Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell; brothers, Leroy, James, and Richard Blanchette; sisters, Theresa Blanchette and Elizabeth Bauer.  She is survived by her children, James (Jonell), Steven, Paul, Linda (Robert) Brown, and Alan (Mary); 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Arlene Harrington; brother, Roland Blanchette; also many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2020 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 525 Jackson Street, Anoka.  Visitation one hour prior to Mass at church (10:00 - 11:00 a.m.)  Interment with Full Military Honors will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Anoka.
