Obituary

Marian Wojciechowski, age 90, of Ham Lake, passed away peacefully on May 19th, 2025, surrounded by family. Born on January 10, 1935, in Andover, MN. Marian lived a life rooted in love, faith, and family. She shared 68 beautiful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Peter. After working at Anoka Electric (now Connexus Energy) for a decade, Marian chose to stay home and raise their three children, embracing her role as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.. Her home was filled with the warmth of her creativity, the beauty of her hand-planted flower gardens each spring, and the quiet joy she found in the companionship of her pets over the years.

Marian had a deep and abiding love for God and shared her faith through countless small acts of kindness, especially the heartfelt cards and notes she would send to brighten others' days. She was also a talented artist, well known for the cherished projects she painted and created with care. Whether traveling with loved ones, gathering with friends, or simply enjoying the beauty of her garden, Marian brought joy to every space she entered. Her kind and compassionate heart, her role as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, and her ever-present smile, will be deeply missed. To know Marian was to smile, and her memory will continue to bring light to all who loved her.

Marian is preceded in death by her mother and father, Alva and Harry Nelson, her sister Phyllis Wenzel, and her brother, Richard.  She is survived by her husband, Peter; brother, Robert (Shirley); sister-in-law, Joan Nelson; sons, Peter (Nancy), & Marty; daughter, Mary Bottineau (Keven); grandchildren, Kevin (Kristin), Kyle (Jessica), Kate (Colton), Grant (Rachel), Grace, Bryce, Colby & Maddie Mae (Brady); great-grandchildren, Mackenzie & Millie, as well as many other loving family and friends.
