Marcia Lenander, 76, of Ramsey MN passed away on July 13, 2021 due to complications following a stroke. Marcia was born on March 21, 1945 in Great Falls, MT to Earl and Virginia (Allum) Solomon. After graduating, she moved to St. Paul, MN with her daughter, Christine, from a previous marriage. She married Raymond Lenander in June,1975, who brought two sons, Wayne and Bryan into the family.

Marcia had a long and fulfilling career with U.S. Bank, starting as a teller and retiring as Vice President of Treasury Management Operations in 2011. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, listening to music, traveling to Montana or up north to the lake, gardening, watching the Minnesota Twins and Hallmark movies on television, and keeping in touch with her church family. She was a loving, kind, thoughtful, caring, and happy person, enjoying life to the fullest.

She is survived by 3 children; Christine (Taylor) Kent, Wayne (Heather) Lenander, and Bryan Lenander; former daughter-in-law Sandie Lenander; siblings Gerri (Jim) Tedrick, Ray (Kathy) Solomon, and Bill (Lori) Solomon; 3 grandchildren (Andrew (Kristin), Brittany, and Autumn); 4 great-grandchildren (Malin, Oskar, Jeremy, and Finn); and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond in 2019, parents Earl and Virginia, sister Myrna (Frank) Gilfeather, and nephew Michael Tedrick.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday August 7, 2021 at 3:00 at the United Methodist Church, 850 South Street, Anoka MN 55303, 763.421.2378. Visitation will be one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred, and will be directed to St Therese at St Odilia in Shoreview, MN and/or Stroke research.
