LuVerne M. "Lu" Seman, age 91 of Anoka, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at her home.

Lu, along with her husband, Steve, were active members of St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Anoka.  She was also a longtime beauty operator in Anoka.  Lu enriched the lives of many through her positive outlook on life.

In addition to her husband, Stephen "Steve", Lu was preceded in death by her daughter, Andrea; and parents, Raymond and Luella Menke.  She is survived by her children, Mark (Alison), Mary, and Charles (Patt); grandchildren, Kathryn, Sean, Derek (Kary), Karli, Erin, and Reno; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Dylan, and Layne; siblings, Lee (Rosie) Menke, Irene Maze, Dorothy Wollack, and Jean Larson; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 28, 2019 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 525 Jackson Street, Anoka.  Visitation one hour prior to Mass at the church (10:00 - 11:00 a.m.)  Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Anoka.
