LuVerne R. Erickson, age 90 of Anoka, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Walker Plaza Assisted Living in Anoka.

In addition to her parents, Bernard and Helena Schmatz, LuVerne was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Arthur; brother, Andrew; companion Jerry Taylor.  She is survived by her adoring children, Greg Erickson (Barb) of Bozeman, MT, Brian Erickson (Kim) of Champlin, and Lisa Bandemer (Todd) of Elk River; 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dolores Steinbrecher and Donna Stacy, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

The family would like to thank the staff at Walker Methodist Plaza in Anoka, and the staff of Allina Hospice for their compassion and supportive care.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 700 Western Street, Anoka.  Visitation one hour prior to the service at church (10:00 - 11:00 a.m.)  Private Interment Baldwin Township Cemetery, rural Princeton, MN.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Sharing and Caring Hands or the Arthritis Foundation.
