Lucille Laura Wells, age 95 of Anoka, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2024 at Benedictine Living Community in Anoka, Minnesota. She was born in Becker, Minnesota to Frank and Helen Kolbinger and was one of nine children.

She was a homemaker, exceptional seamstress, cook and baker of chocolate cupcakes. She liked to read, play bingo, do puzzles, travel and spend time with family.

Preceded in death by husband, Merle after 70 years of marriage. Survived by children, Wendy (Mark) Case, Trudy (Jim) Elmer; grandchildren, Megan (Mitch) Linde, Laura Saba, Travis Elmer; great-granddaughters, Layla Linde, Elsie Saba; sister, June Forsyth; sister-in-law, Nadine Kolbinger and many other loving relatives and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 11 AM with a visitation at 10 AM at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 525 Jackson St., Anoka, MN with a lunch following the service. Interment will be at  a later date.
