Lucille "Lucy" Marie Schwengler age 77 of Nowthen passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 14, 2023. Preceded in death by her husband Peter, parents Frankie & Loretta Simon, brothers Raymond & Melvin, sister Mary Lou and sister-in-law Mary. Survived by her daughter Kimberly (Michael) Peno, son Timothy, grandchildren Brandi (Joseph) Archila, Ashley (Tyler Paulson) Peno and Courtnie Peno, great-grandchildren Mathias, Aston, Kaia, Rafe and one on the way (Remi), sister Theresa Simon, sisters-in-law Karen Simon and Alice Ereth, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, September 22, 2023 at 11 am with visitation one hour prior to Mass at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 19921 Nightingale Street, NW, Oak Grove. Further visitation will be held on Thursday from 5-8 pm at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Avenue, Anoka. Private interment Ft. Snelling Nation Cemetery, Minneapolis.
