Lowell was born in Canton, South Dakota on June 2, 1934. He passed away at his home in Champlin on June 6, 2020. Lowell was preceded in death by his wife, Julia, son, Neal and parents, Elmer & Marion.  He is survived by his children, Debra (Greg) Sorensen, Denise (Allen) Dittrich and Dean (Rosemary) Hoover, 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one brother, nieces and nephews. Due to the Covid-19 situation private services will be held. Memorials are preferred to Servant of Christ Lutheran Church, 740 East Hayden Lake Road, Champlin, MN 55316.
