Louise passed away on October 9, 2026. She was born on June 10, 1930 in Minneapolis. Louise loved shopping, baking, scary movies, and above all else spending time with her family. She had a quick wit and was extremely funny. Louise had a cute little smile that was uniquely hers. She was a very loving mother, grandmother (Grammy), and great grandmother (Big Grandma). Louise was always there for her two daughters – no matter what! We will all miss her dearly. Preceded in death by husband of 65 years Roy, parents Fred & Carrie Hansen, brother Fred and son-in-law Vincent Birchem. Survived by daughters Carole Birchem and Colleen (Daniel) McGraw, granddaughters Kimberly Ben-Ami, Carrie (Ryan) Campion, Caitlin (Carl) Anfinson, great-grandchildren Shaindl, Kieran, Sean & Connor, many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services Monday October 19, 2026 at 11 am at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay Street, NW, Andover. Visitation one hour prior to services. Interment Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids.
