Lorraine E. Golden age 74 of Andover, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on March 20, 2019. She was very artistic and loved gardening in her garden. She also enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. She was an inspiration to everyone she met and will be deeply missed. Lorraine was courageous in life after the death of her son, Butchie, in 1975.

Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents, Armand & Rita Dorie; brothers, Richard & Donald; and her son, Roger "Butchie".

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Val; children, JoAnne, Judy & Jane; step-children, Vicki, Laura, Val Jr., Vince, Ellaina, Tony & Julie; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Lorraine's Life will be held on Wednesday (March 27, 2019) at 1 PM with a public visitation starting at 12 noon at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay St. NW. in Andover. A luncheon will be held at the funeral home following the service.
