Hamilton, Lora Grace (Holasek) age 90 of Ramsey went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at the age of 90 with her loving family by her side.

Lora was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend that will be missed deeply by all who knew her. Lora graduated from Anoka High School in 1952.  She worked in New Services at the R.E.A. (Rural Electrification Association) now known as Connexus Energy until shortly before the birth of her first child.  Lora served her church and her community throughout her life as a sewing leader for Cheerful Chuggers 4-H; long-time member of The Philolectian Society, Anoka, MN Chapter serving as President from 1994-1995, and active member at First Baptist Church for over 72 years. She was well known for her caring, loving and giving spirit.

Lora was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Edward "Ed" Hamilton, parents Ignac and Grace Holasek, brother Winslow Holasek, son-in-law Clifford Gribble. Lora is survived by daughters Nina Gribble and Lisa Hamilton; beloved grandchildren Anita (Mohamed) Hdouch and William Hamilton, nieces, other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, June 21 at 11:00 a.m. at United Methodist Church of Anoka, 850 South St., Anoka, MN. Internment Forest Hill Cemetery, Anoka.  Visitation on Thursday, June 20 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Thurston Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Ave, Anoka, and 1 hour prior to June 21 service at church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Lora can be made to Camp Lebanon (1205 Acorn Road, Burtrum, MN 56318 - camplebanon.org), or Children's Shelter of Cebu (cebushelter.org)
