Lois Anna Severud, beloved partner, mother, grandmother,
friend and nurturer to many,
passed away on November 12, 2021. She was 77 years old.
Born on November 4, 1944, in St. James, MN, she was the daughter of Dolores Sturm. She grew up in Minneota, and later moved to Minneapolis, MN.
Lois is survived by her partner Doug Suchy; daughters Dawn Marie Herrboldt of Mequon, WI, Cheri Herrboldt (Joe Roos) of Altadena, CA and son, Mark Herrboldt (Kim) of Anchorage, AK; five cherished grandchildren, Maya, Izabella, Anjali, Ethan and Kalliyan and her dearly loved dog, Molly.
Lois' generosity of spirit and boundless love for her own children as well as multitudes of others, led her to being a girl scout leader for over a decade, active in the PTA, a skilled cake decorator, an avid bowler and youth bowling coach. As she got older, the simplest pleasures brought great joy to Lois. She loved being with her grandchildren, playing cards, walking her dog, ceramic painting and volunteering. Her strong work ethic and her willingness to always go the extra mile led her to be recognized over and over in her various positions at Wells Fargo. She always had a generosity of spirit and boundless love which with she shared with everyone unsparingly.
Her memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 23 at 1 p.m., with visitation one hour prior, at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 525 Jackson Street, Anoka, MN 55303. A reception will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the VFW, 1919 Coon Rapids Blvd., NW, Coon Rapids, MN.
