Lois E. Harmon, DVM, age 63 of Becker, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at her home.

Lois was a skilled and beloved veterinarian, and a dear member of the family.  She was passionate about the care and well-being of animals of all kinds, and donated countless hours of her time to volunteer animal-rescue care, and to helping and teaching the people she worked with.

In addition to her parents, Henry and Adeline, Lois was preceded in death by a newborn sister, Karen; and sister, Barbara Leaf, MD.  She is survived by her brother, James (Dianne) Harmon; sisters, Patricia (Jerry) Henderson and Karen (Rex) Robitschek; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews; lifelong friend, Bonnie Bielen; and numerous dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, lizards, and other beloved companions, many of whom preceded her in death.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Zion Lutheran Church, 1601 Fourth Avenue S., Anoka.  Visitation one hour prior to the service at church (10:00 - 11:00 a.m.)  Private Interment Forest Hill Cemetery.
