IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lisa Jeanne
Bartz
December 10, 1964 – February 12, 2026
On Thursday, February 12th 2026, the Love of my Life, Best Mom in the world and my Best Friend got her promotion to Heaven. Lisa “Bunny” Bartz is now with the Lord along with our family and friends who have gone before and we’re sure she’s making mass quantities of food for everyone in Heaven. Our girl loved Jesus so much and especially through these last months where she continued to break all of the medical predictions.
Lisa Jeanne Bartz (Hendrickson) was born on December 10th, 1964 in Robbinsdale Minnesota. While growing up in Plymouth Minnesota she attended Pilgrim Lane Elementary, Plymouth Junior High and graduated in 1983 from Armstrong Sr. High School. She loved and lived Gymnastics! Did we say she was really good in Gymnastics? She was!
Lisa graduated from St. Cloud State University in 1987 with a Bachelors degree in Business and built her professional career in finance working for American Express and Wells Fargo.
On May 15th, 1999 Lisa married Peter Bartz. On July 25, 2001 they started their family with her “Miracle Boy” Carter Bartz and shortly after, she decided to leave her professional career and start her favorite career as a mom.
Lisa is preceded in death by her parents Harry and Jeanne Hendrickson, Pete’s parents Chet and Marge Bartz and brother-in-law Rob Wachter.
Lisa is survived by her husband of almost 27 years, Peter Bartz and son of 24 years Carter Christian Bartz. She is also survived by her siblings Richard Hendrickson, Ron and Gigi Hendrickson, Lori Wachter, Bob and Kathy Hendrickson and so many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 12 noon at Riverway Church, 9000 117th Avenue, North, Champlin with visitation beginning at 11 am. Further visitation will be held Friday (3/13) from 5-8 pm at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Avenue, Anoka.
I am broken and crushed by the shear fact that I’m not holding her hand right now but I am equally ecstatic that she is with the best company ever and is preparing the house ahead of us whenever the time is that God calls. I expect she wants to decorate without advice.
We are so grateful to our friends, caregivers and family for their love, support and stories, some of which we are yet to hear.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred. The ones we have picked are below.
