Froberg, Lila Mae age 75, of Brooklyn Center, went home to be with her beloved husband Clarence and daughter Sharon on January 16, 2016. Lila Mae Rodgers was born on April 8, 1940, to Perry Rodgers and Velma (Danner) Rodgers in Anoka. She loved to garden, cook, sew, knit, watch football, attend Twins games, and most of all: just be with family. Lila accepted everyone with open arms & was a mom to all of the neighborhood kids. She is survived by her sister, Patricia Zirul, daughter Julie Rose Froberg & son-in-law Roger Rose, son Clarence (Carl) Froberg, & Missie Tyler, grandchildren: Heather, Dominic, Andrew, Briana, Aleda, Evie, Jude, Maria, Joey & Brooke, along with Max Witte, Karissa Knutson, Wendy Froberg, Glenda Playle & Debbie Rothstein, aunt Mary Ann (Danner) Wheat, uncle Jim Danner & wife Sunok , plus a large circle of friends and family that loved her. Visitation will be Saturday, January 23, 10 am at: Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Avenue, Anoka, MN 55303. Celebration of life: 11:00am. Luncheon at Greenhaven Country Club following burial. Lila left this earth after a brief and valiant struggle with cancer. She wanted to leave behind the pain & enjoy eternal life in heaven.
