Lenwood C. Lambert, Sr., age 93 of Anoka, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at home.

In addition to his parents, Clarence and Mabel (Fjeld) Lambert, Lenwood was preceded in death by his wife, Effie; son, Bill; and sister-in-law, Norma.  He is survived by his children, Shelby (Gary) Erickson, Buzz Lambert, Sandra McFarland, Suzan (Bob) Mickelson, and Debra Lambert; grandchildren, Tamara, Shelly (John), Jeremy (Elizabeth), and Dana (Ed); great-grandchildren, Gavin, Charlie, and Kierra; brother, Arlow Lambert; beloved dog, Diggity; and many relatives and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Avenue, Anoka.  Visitation one hour prior to the service (10:00 - 11:00 a.m.)  Interment with Full Military Honors will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

Requested funeral attire is flannel shirts and blue jeans.
