Obituary

Lawrence C. "Larry" Lewis, age 71 of Champlin, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 29, 2020 at his home after a courageous fight with liver disease.

Larry was born on March 30, 1948 in Minneapolis, MN to Claude, Jr. and Mildred (Phalen) Lewis.  He was a talented metal sculpture artist and served in the United States Navy during Vietnam.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary.  He is survived by his children, Michael (Leah) and Melissa Bodin; grandchildren, Serena and Sydney; brother, Stacy Lewis; sisters, Kathy Bakke and Claudette LaClare.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Avenue, Anoka.  Visitation 1/2 hour prior to the service (10:30 - 11:00 a.m.)  Interment with Full Military Honors will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Per CDC guidelines, social distancing and the use of masks are required.
