Laurel "Laurie" Forse 1953-2024. Laurie was a beacon of joy and love in the lives of those who had the privilege to know her. Her spirit was vibrant, always bringing warmth and light into the room she entered. With a heart full of boundless love and acceptance of others, Laurie had a unique ability to make people feel seen and cherished. Her kindness was a testament to her beautiful soul. Whether it was through a simple smile, a comforting word, or a helping hand, Laurie touched the hearts of many, leaving an indelible mark of compassion and grace. She had an uncanny ability to find the good in people and to uplift those around her. Laurie had an innate talent for making others feel special, always taking the time to listen, care, and to love. Her genuine nature will forever be etched in our hearts. Though Laurie is no longer with us, her legacy of love and joy lives on. We are deeply saddened by her loss, but we find comfort in knowing that heaven has gained a beautiful soul. Her love will continue in our memories. Laurie, you are dearly missed, but never forgotten. Laurie left us early in the morning of July 17. She was proceeded in death by her father, Clarence, her mother Eileen, her brother Terrence, her sister Shelley, and many other relatives. She is survived by COUNTLESS friends, former childhood neighbors, her two Pomeranian dogs Aventi and Denali, her father's two youngest sisters, her aunts Doris Johansen and Lillian Ostlund, many cousins and their families. The search is ongoing for family members of her mother Eileen. A celebration of Laurie's life was held at the King's Ranch in Ramsey, MN, August 17, and she will be laid to rest with her family at Forest Hill Cemetery, Anoka, Tuesday September 10th at noon. Following the graveside burial, there will be a time for fellowship at the American Legion, 400 West Main Street in Anoka, from 12:30-2:30. Forest Hill Cemetery is located at 621 Church St. in Anoka. The service will be at Section O, Block 1, Lot 19. Enter the main gate and proceed to the "treed" older section in the back of the cemetery. There are well marked signs for each Block and it will not be difficult to find.
