Tice, Kevin Eric (47) of Zimmerman, MN passed away August 20, in Coon Rapids, MN, after a long, courageous battle with brain cancer. Kevin was born on May 12, 1973 in Cambridge, MN, to Wendell and Marilyn Tice. He attended Elk River Schools where he was heavily involved in the music program. His best high school memories were on the ski slopes with his dad and his brothers. After high school, Kevin graduated from Anoka Ramsey Community College. He served in in the MN National Guard and then from 1992 to 1997 he served as a Military Police officer in the United States Army where he spent time in both Bosnia and South Korea. Kevin was passionate about building things. In his youth he built and flew model planes and rockets. He continued this passion in his career in the construction field and in the many things he built in his own home and his family's homes. He enjoyed playing his drums, watching movies, eating pizza and making people laugh. He is survived by his son Patrick Bradley (Ysenia) of Olympia, WA and his daughter, Audrey Tice of Elk River; his mother, Marilyn Tice of Coon Rapids; brothers Brian (Natasha) of Anoka and Aaron (Paula) of Elk River; nieces, Beatrice, Sophie, Clara, Megan, Talsi, Maneka; nephew Jack and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Wendell Tice; and his grandparents Dana and Anne Tice and Arvid and Mildred Carlson. Memorials preferred. A private, family ceremony will be held at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
