Knoop, Kenneth L. 'Ken' age 84 of Anoka. Ken was a proud Marine serving with the 1st Marine Division in Korea. Survived by wife, Marlyse, children, Debra (Don) Nye, Connie (Gary Schreindl) Klatt, Cathy Axen and John (Berta) Knoop, grandsons, Kory Klatt, Nick Denny, John & Ryan Axen, Jacob & Dylan Knoop and step grandson, Jeffrey Hayes who has passed away, great-grandchildren, Blake, Brynlee, Laiyla, Sofia, Bryce, Boden & Brooks, nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 525 Jackson Street, Anoka. Doors to the church open at 10:40 a.m.. Private interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery on Thursday. Visitation Monday, April 19, 2021 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Avenue, Anoka. Use of masks, proper spacing and a building limit of 50 will be observed. Following the funeral Mass on Tuesday, coffee and cake will be served at the Anoka American Legion Post #102, 400 West Main Street, Anoka.
