Kayleen Dawn (Hedtke) Josephson age 49 of Ham Lake Minnesota, formerly of Blaine, passed away peacefully while surrounded by loved ones, Friday April 20th, 2018 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital after several long weeks in ICU during which time Kayleen was very positive and determined to battle for her life.

Kayleen was born Wednesday, August 14th, 1968 (the last baby) to Donald and Ronadean (Morrow) Hedtke and was raised in Blaine, Minnesota. Kayleen is survived by her daughter Nicole Nelson-Riahi (husband) Mochroq, sons Tanner and Kevin Josephson, mother Ronedean Hedtke, sister Kim and (husband) Bill Marthaler, brother Kurt and (wife) Susana Hedtke, sister Kristen Hedtke  and nieces Kammie, Dayna, Paulina, nephews Aaron, Sam, Jessy, and Micheal, grandsons Mustafha, Maalik, and Raami and her much loved pets Purple, Riley, Bob and Charlie.

She was preceded in death by her father Donald Hedtke and brother Kevin Hedtke.

Kayleen had a heart of gold and would thoughtfully do whatever she could for anyone in need. She always put others before herself and brought light and laughter to any room. She had a great love for animals and spent her free time volunteering at the local animal shelter.  She was both creative and artistic as seen in various projects she had done for family and friends. Kayleen was independent and self-employed all her life and made sure she was always there for her children.

All family and loved ones are invited to participate in our celebration of Kayleen's life on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Our Saviours Lutheran Church, 19001 Jackson Street Northeast, East Bethel with viewing stating at 10 am, followed by an 11 am service. Burial at Cedar Cemetery in Oak Grove followed by lunch at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to help with expenses.
