Bowman, Kathleen M. "Kathy" age 51, of New Hope. Wife, mother and friend, passed away after a courageous 2- year battle with pancreatic cancer. She was an employee of Navarre Corp. Kathy had a strong faith in Jesus and loved spending time at Lake Osakis and Leech Lake. She enjoyed her evening drives looking for deer, playing practical jokes on friends and sitting in the garage visiting with neighbors. Kathy's recent adventures included sky diving and her wonderful vacation to Hawaii, which included ziplining and a helicopter ride. Preceded in death by parents, Robert & Dorothy Walters. Survived by her husband & best friend, Scot; beloved mother of Alyssa and Michael Rydlund; siblings, Larry, Jeanette and Richard Walters; mother-in-law, Carol Bowman; nieces, nephews, and her black labs, Coal and Ella Marie. Memorial service Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, 11:00 AM at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 61 Mississippi St. NE, Fridley.
