In Loving Memory of Kari Brey February 2nd, 1962 – December 25th, 2024

Sadly, our beloved, Kari (Tuseth) Brey, 62, of Oak Grove, Minnesota, peacefully transitioned on December 25th, 2024 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family. Kari was born on February 2nd, 1962, in Mankato, Minnesota, to John and Eileen Tuseth. She is survived by her devoted husband, Pat; her children, Ryan Salay (her daughter-in-law, Naila Legros-Salay) and Joe Brey; her mother, Eileen Tuseth; and her siblings, Sheryl (Matt), John (Holly) Jennifer (Ken), and Katherine (Paul).

Kari was a beacon of inspiration and determination who deeply cared for others. She was always ready to set aside her own tasks to help anyone in need and sought the best for everyone around her. Her kindness and infectious joy left an unforgettable mark on all who knew her. Kari approached life with a balance of hard work and play, always striving to provide for her family. She embraced life to its fullest, going out of her way to show compassion and touching countless lives with her warmth and generosity. Despite facing many challenges, she maintained an unwavering zest for adventure. She extended her hand around the world. Her remarkable spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Kari's love and spirit will remain a guiding light to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

There will be an event to honor Kari Brey on 1/25/2025 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 835 Second Avenue, NW, New Brighton. A visitation will be held at 9:00am, followed by the funeral mass and luncheon beginning at 10:00am. A Remembrance of Life will take place at Kari and Pat's house on Lake George. All are welcome to join at the Lake House. Flowers are welcome but donations are encouraged.
