Krantz, Karen Rhaye (Gregg) of Coon Rapids, MN, died on Sunday, August 5th, 2018. She was born in Ames, IA to Alice (Muriel) and Paul Gregg and moved to Anoka, Minnesota in 1961. After attending the University of Minnesota and gaining her MA in Elementary Education she began her dedicated 36-year teaching career in the Anoka-Hennepin school district. She was heavily involved in various groups for her love of traveling, academics, music, needlepoint work and volunteering whenever she could. She dedicated her retired life to being an amazing mother, grandmother and wife. She is survived by her husband, Alan; her children, Braden and Kelsey and 3 grandchildren, Micah, Avery & Charlie. A visitation will be held Monday from 5-8pm at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Ave., Anoka. A memorial service and luncheon will be held Tuesday at 11AM with visitation 1 hour prior at Zion Lutheran Church, 1601 S. 4th Ave., Anoka.
