Joyce J. Erickson, age 92 of Champlin, went to Heaven peacefully on Monday, October 23, 2017 at Guardian Angels Care Center in Elk River.

Joyce raised her five children with her husband, Lee Bovee in Champlin.  She remarried and continued to reside in Champlin with her husband, Richard Erickson.  Joyce retired after 30 years with the Anoka State Hospital.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husbands, Lee Bovee and Richard Erickson; sisters, Mabel Olson, Gloria Boettcher, and Carrie Hackler.  She is survived by her sons, Robert Bovee (JoAnne), Gordon Bovee (Jan), and Stan Bovee (Judy); daughters, Penny Mitchell (Grant) and Pam Cook (Rick); 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Wilbur Boettcher  (Ellen) and Art Boettcher; sister, Betty Kirvan; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. We love you and will miss you!

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 710 E. Broadway Street, Osseo.  Visitation one hour prior to the service at church (10:00 – 11:00 a.m.)  Interment Champlin Cemetery.
